Poulin Dressage and Fair Weather Farm are proud to host FEI “I” judge, Christoph Hess for 2 days this upcoming April 5 & 6th. Auditors are welcome both days, and we suggest that you pre-register as there is only room for 60 auditors each day. Auditor space will be given on first-come, first-serve basis. It's cold outside in Cleveland Ohio!  Did you know that Fair Weather Farm has a heated indoor and barn? They have state of the art Fiber footing and brand new lighting by TCP. It's bright and inviting. 24hr security can put any owner at ease knowing your horse is safe at all hours. Your horses care and well being are first priority at FWF. There staff is friendly and horse knowledgeable. Poulin Dressage has a few openings at FWF for long term or short term board. Come in for an overnight lesson, monthly basis or stay as long as you like. We are flexible! We also offer seat lessons on our school horses.

Year End Wrap up for Poulin Dressage. It has been a fun filled and successful year for Poulin Dressage.
Rachael Horton’s mare Elektra had a successful summer showing in the Prix St. George and Intermeidare I with scores in the 70’s! Rachael Horton was part of Fair Weather Farms Prix de Ville team. Congrats to Sally Gries who debuted at Third Level with her mare Madison. She received her scores at Third level for her bronze medal. Other USDF rider awards went to Hannah Price who earned her Silver medal with Sulley. Karen Deitrick and Puddle Jumper made a splash at Third level and clenched there Bronze Medal.
Stacey Hirth riding Riley and Susan Slotnick riding GiGi both debuted at First level this year!! Congratulations are in order for Kelly Grant who welcomed her third son, Hudson! And to Liz Ritz on the purchase of her beautiful mare “Jules”. Athena Tarulli competed in her first recognized horse show on Rivendell and rode in the Christoph Hess. While Jacqueline Dickey showed her lovely Oldenburg mare, God Speed, at Training level and also participated in the Christoph Hess clinic. Rachel Burger debuted at Training level with Fair Weather Farms two Friesians, Cas and Cor. She also qualified for Region 2 Championships and clenched the Reserve Champion at Jr/Yr Training level USDF Friesian award.
Kate had a very successful season on all her horses. Brilliant Too was Region 2 Grand Prix Champion and USDF Performance Horse Champion at Grand Prix. Kate and Brilliant Too also did demonstration rides at Equine Affair and the American Gold Cup. Kate is now preparing “Zuel” for the 2011 Pan American Games. Riding Brenda Ridenour’s 4yr Hanoverian Stallion, Don Regale, Kate clenched many blue ribbons at Training level. Kate and Brenda took “Regis” to the Devon horse show where Regis cleaned up placing second in the huge 4-5 gelding/stallion class. Regis’s future is bright. New to the team is “Rio”! A 4yr Lusitano stallion sponsored to Kate by Fair Weather Farm. Kate and Rio are a new team but have already had several scores in the 70’s at Training level and many blue ribbons. We are looking forward to the future with this amazing horse.
We were proud to host a clinic with Christoph Hess this past summer at Fair Weather Farm. We had a big turnout of auditors and had a waiting list for rider slots. This clinic was a huge success and we are looking forward to having Christoph back in April and November 2011. Fair Weather Farm will also be hosting clinics with Michael Pouiln and Stephan Clarke of Germany. We are all looking forward to 2011!

July 21- Two day riding clinic with Christoph Hess from Germany at Fair Weather Farm in Chagrin Falls Ohio.
Christoph has worked for the German Equestrian Federation’s training department since 1978 and is presently Director of Training and Education at the German Federation. He is an FEI “I” Judge for Dressage and Eventing and is actively involved internationally in the education of judges and trainers; has judged and provided commentary for the FEI Young Horse Championships, Stallion shows and the WEG in Aachen. CLICK HERE FOR AUDITOR FORM


April16th- Kate and Brilliant Too perfromed a fun freestyle at the 2010 Equine Affaire. More then 5,000 people cheered them on to Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and Shakria re mix. Watch the video to their high energy performance! Kate & Brilliant Too Freestyle  Thank you to Meghan Spann for her help over the three days at Equine Affaire.

April 12th- Great article on Dressagedaily.com today on maintaining older horses featuring Herb Commander. Written by Bonnie Efrid, who had the oppurtunity to take a lesson on Herby with Michael Poulin. Too old to work?







April 1st- Kayla and Herby did it again! Sweeping up at Dressage on the Frist Coast, Herb Commander helped Kayla earn her scores for her Silver medal.

March 28th- We are pleased to announce that Fair Weather Farm will be hosting a clinic with Chirstoph Hess on July 31st and August 1st. More informaiton coming soon!







March 27th- Fair Weather Farm will be hosting a one day clinic with 'S' (Senior) judge Sharon Poulin on May 1st.  Sharon Poulin has trained and shown numerous horses to Grand Prix including the stallions Brilliant, Boleem and Pyrmont. Limited riding slots available.







March 22nd- Congratulations to Robin on the purchase of Sage! Sage and Robin were a perfect fit and we look foward to hearing about there partnership.







December 10th- Kayla McKay showed Herb Commander (age24 ) at the Dressage on the First Coast show. Their debut at Third level was a success!! She placed first in both Third level test 3 open classes with a 67%! Reserve Champion Third Level high score of the show. Congratulations!!!

November 1st- Congratulations to Pat Herrick and Bandit! They debuted in First level at Chagrin Valley Farms schooling show and did a fantastic job!








October 5th- Team Poulin participated in the 2009 Region 2 Championships and came home with numerous ribbons. Kate and Brilliant Too won the Grand Prix Open on Friday and were Reserve Champion in the Grand Prix Open with a 68%! Kate also competed the stallion Lautrec in the Prix St. George division. Lautrec did a fantastic job in the Prix St. George on Friday placing second. In the Championship class on Sunday Lautrec placed 5th respectfully. Kate's student, Rachael Horton, competed in the Prix St. George Young Rider divsion with her mare Elektra. She was right on Kate's heels on Friday placing third in the Prix St. George. Rachael did a fantastic job in Sunday scoring several 8's and a 9 in her Championship class. Pictures are coming soon!








Kate and Brilliant Too wowed the crowd at the Cleveland Grand Prix Hunter/Jumper Classic. Riding to "Hey You" and "Sugar Sugar" they showed off their flawless one tempi's, double pirroutes,piaffe and passage. The crowd was most impressed with their extended trots. A big thank you to Liz Ritz and Kelly Grant for being my eyes on the ground and moral support!



    










Fair Weather Farm hosted a Dressage clinic with Michael Poulin on July 25th and 26th. It was a huge success!! We will be hosting more clinics in the future. Enjoy some photos of Team Poulin students participating.

July 20th-  Team Poulin competed at the NODA reconized Dressage show in Jefferson Ohio. Lautrec swept up in the Prix St. George divison winning a blue ribbon both days. Scoring a 64% and 65% Lautrec had steady fluid trot work and recieved 8's on his canter pirouettes.

June 8th- Another successfull show for Team Poulin. Kate and Brilliant Too won the Grand Prix Open both days. Lautrec placed  2nd and 3rd respectfully in the Prix St. George Open division.
